Who We Are
NASIM Foundation is a North America based non-profit 501(c)(3), non-political organization to bring about socio-economic change in India through education of underprivileged minorities. NASIM’s main purpose is to foster economic prosperity,health, individual empowerment and freedom.

The foundation is proud to offer generous scholarships to the underprivileged minorities. We sponsor education and vocational skill-based courses to orphans and visually/physically impaired individuals.
We believe that we can improve the society by offering quality education to individual’s coming from weaker sections so that they can learn to sustain themselves. Most of our projects are focused on providing education to the needy students through various channels...

NASIM Foundation is presenting an event to highlight the life and legacy of famous Indian scholar, Sufi singer, poet and Musician Hazrat Amir Khusrau. We invite you to be part of this marque event that will focus on the legacy of this great philosopher, mystic, linguist and one who is regarded as the father of qawwali, inventor of Sitar and Hindavi language. He is an iconic figure in the cultural history of the Indian subcontinent.
To celebrate famous qawwal Dhruv Sangari (A.K.A. Bilal Chishti) from India will be performing. Dhruv is an Indian based artist from Nizam Uddin Dargah. He has learned under Late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and has performed world wide, he has also performed in Coke studios and has toured with A.R. Rahman. We will perform Kalam of Hazrat Amir Khusrau. Sufi music will be performed by Khuda Baksh of Indian Idol fame.
The event will be held on Friday August 19th, 2022 at Grand Event Center 300 Chisolm Place in Plano, Texas 75075.
Dinner will be served for early arrivals between 7-8pm. Performance and event will start promptly 8pm. Tickets start at $40. Please note, this is not a fundraiser, but 100% of your ticket proceed will go toward Education and health endeavors of NASIM Foundation.
